What is Flicksync?

Flicksync is a built-in OASIS feature that allows any player to sync their avatar with any film scene loaded into the system. When Flicksync is active, the player must perform every line and action in the scene with perfect accuracy — the OASIS overlays the film around the player's avatar in real-time. Nailing a Flicksync earns rare XP bonuses and is considered a mark of deep cultural knowledge among Gunters.

How to Flicksync

1. Select a film from the list above and press SYNC NOW.
2. The OASIS overlays the film environment around your avatar — you inhabit the world of the film.
3. Deliver every line of dialogue exactly as spoken in the original. Timing counts.
4. Perform all physical actions accurately — the system tracks movement and timing.
5. A perfect sync awards a significant XP bonus, rare items, and earns respect among Gunters.
6. Any deviation from the script pauses the sync and requires a restart from the last checkpoint.
